The Liberal Party was pleased to be able to support our candidate Dan Clarke at the Runcorn & Helsby by-election where he came a respectable 6th in a crowded field.
Our candidate Cllr Fran Oboeski MBE came a strong second in Kidderminster in the St Chads Division of Worcestershire County Council.
Many thanks to our other candidates in Devon, Cornwall, Lincolnshire and Worcestershire, those who helped canvas and our benefactors who contributed to our campaign costs.
As a party we wish to extend our reach to Liberal minded independent candidates across the country.
We also wish to extend a hand to disaffected working class voters dismayed by the indifference of the Labour Party and unconvinced by the insurgent Reform UK.
