On behalf of The Liberal Party can I express our deepest sadness at the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.

Her dedication and public service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of some 70 years has been an inspiration to us all.

We pray for King Charles as he takes up the role of sovereign of the United Kingdom.

This would be ok as a personal statement but poorly worded and ill thought out representing the Party. While many people will want to note the passing of Queen Elizabeth, not all Party members are Monarchists and probably not many pray.
